Creating a Content Strategy
In Chapter 6 of the book "Social Media for Strategic Communication" Karen Freberg talks about forming a strategic plan to achieve the overall goals as a brand or a company . A strategic plan is a creative and systemic way of turning research into content.According to this plan is important to stay loyal to your brand voice and vision.
In order to set up a content strategy one must come up with a brand voice and strategic guidelines. All the content should share the same brand voice. Once you have set up your brand voice and guidelines you have to decide the platform to publish your content on. These platforms can be blogs, pages or just social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other. Then you have to choose an audience. There is two types of audience. One type is Primary audience that is the key audience and then is the secondary audience. You will want to address both the audiences' need inorder for them to understand, accept and appreciate your strategic plan.
