Responding to hate comments
In "The Art of Social Media" Guy Kawasaki talks about
responding to comments. He talks about receiving negative feedback and advises
us to not get into long arguments with the commenters. He introduces the
strategy of going three rounds in such situations.
Going three rounds means
responding to their comment then hoping that they are satisfied by your response. If they are not satisfied
with it there is no good in arguing with them any further. If the commenter doesn’t stop criticizing or trying to pick a fight, then you should simply ignore or delete their comments or block that user. Internet has become an
integral part of our lives now and one of the reasons why we love it is because it
helps us practice freedom of speech. Most of the people tend to take advantage
of freedom of speech and do not hesitate turning feedback into hatred. Some people feel safer behind the screen
and in front of a keyboard so they post comments that they would never make in
real life.
Internet is already very toxic
so we should not hesitate from ignoring and deleting their comments and
blocking such people. Whether it is to save our company from defamation or
save ourselves from the toxicity, we should not let these people think that
their negative comments hold power.

I like your post! It also depends on a person who writes a blog as some people do weird or bad things on purpose to collect a lot of negative comments and become popular because of them. But usually, I see that bloggers just do not react on haters especially if they are famous.
