Return of Stone Cold Steve Austin
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Steve
Austin Show” Austin talked about his return to WWE for another match. He
recalled his last match against The Rock that he had back in Seattle in 2003
during Wrestlemania XIX. The timing of this announcement perfectly aligns with
Wrestlemania 36 that is expected to be in April.
It’s no news that WWE is scripted so
it is always fascinating to see how the team comes up with the strategies to
increase the ratings of the show. Wrestlemania is the biggest event of the year
for the wrestlers and the fans alike. Every year the WWE team comes up with a new
way to increase the rating more than the previous one. They often bring back an
old wrestler or they announce the retirement of one of the current ones. As Austin
has been a legend in the wrestling world; hence, the ratings of the Monday night
raw are expected to skyrocket on his return. The views have already started
going up after the announcement because the anticipating fans are expecting his
return to be an unexpected one especially reuniting him with his long-time
friend Undertaker against Brock Lesner.
Although fans are going bananas over
his return, Austin has clarified that he will only return for a match or a
storyline. He won’t stay for a long time.
